With more than 30 years of experience in telecommunications, Bruce Peterson has a proven track record for developing new ventures and increasing sales of products and services. Prior to joining Velocent, Bruce Peterson product managed GSM based 3G Packet Core Network (PCN) products for Lucent Technologies Bell Labs. Prior to managing the PCN which Velocent Systems now optimizes and monitors, Bruce led the business side of Cooperative Innovations within Lucent that contracted commercial solutions to fill gaps in Lucent's product line. Prior to joining Lucent in 1997, Bruce spent 5 years founding and building VoiceCue Technologies that still employs over thirty people to provide enhanced services to cellular operators.
Eric Hong brings more than 17 years of engineering experience in telecommunications and real-time applications to Velocent. Prior to joining Velocent, he was a senior engineer with Lucent Technologies for 8 years and developed Lucent's GPRS/EDGE SGSN and UMTS SGSN. Prior to Lucent, he held various lead engineering positions at Tellabs, Zenith, and Life Fitness. Mr. Hong holds a M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Iowa State University and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the National Cheng-Kung University, Taiwan.
